New MDEP Equipment Makes It’s First Dollar

RADCLIFFE, IA, Aug. 11, 2011

Mirenco has been working with Applus+ Autologic to develop custom emission equipment designed specifically to perform the Mirenco Diesel Evaluation Procedure (MDEP). It has taken many long months of collaboration between Mirenco and Applus+ Autologic to complete this project but has been well worth the effort. The new MDEP equipment has completed it’s first paid evaluation on Thursday August 11, 2011.

      Several MDEP evaluations were completed for a customer interested in measuring the effects on emissions of an aftermarket product they had developed for internal combustion engines. The new MDEP equipment performed well. The new MDEP equipment worked as designed and proved to be much easier to setup and use than the currently employed MDEP equipment. With wireless capabilities and a user friendly application the new MDEP equipment was simple to use and hassle free. “I was amazed at how little time and effort was needed to set up and use the new MDEP equipment compared to the current equipment.” Said a Mirenco technician that used the MDEP equipment that day.

    Mirenco is excited to offer this new MDEP equipment to its dealers in the near future. This is a significant advancement in the MDEP process that will reduce the time needed to complete MDEP evaluations as well as the time to send and process MDEP results. The new MDEP equipment will provide MDEP dealers, customers and Mirenco with a much faster, precise and user friendly experience. MDEP results can now be  sent to Mirenco and back to the technician in a matter of minutes.
