We believe that in Mirenco’s technologies and patents we have a capability which
no one has ever been able to offer to vehicle fleet owners in the past. In other
words, most of the focus has been on selling new vehicles and getting rid of the
older vehicles. I am amazed with how little that technology has been developed
for the existing vehicles with regard to tools that maintain engine combustion.
In addition, Mirenco has given mechanics and vehicle sales teams a professional
service (MDEP) for measuring and managing vehicle operation cost. With regard to
an engine’s combustion, mechanics had no measurement procedure in place that
maintained the certified combustion over the engine’s life. Mirenco has made it
possible for the mechanics to tune and repair an engine using only the engine’s
tailpipe combustion data. Since every gallon of fuel that is wasted costs an
organization money, Mirenco service providers have learned how to read engine
combustion reports so that they can make sure that the diesel fuel that is being
injected is being burned as efficient as possible. We're seeing new jobs which
are based on our clean engine technologies being created or maintained in
today’s failing economy. We have Mirenco vehicle service providers in Iowa,
Minnesota and in many other states. We are also seeing our technology expand
rapidly throughout the mining community.
We now have a distributor (Whayne Supply Company) that will be expanding the
Mirenco technologies throughout the United States and Canada. I continue to see
2009 as an exciting year as our sales and new clients develop from our new
marketing partner. Over the next five years, I believe our sales projections are
conservative. With an emphasis placed on marketing, we will have a sales power
that Mirenco has not had in the past. There will be a sales video available,
which should be a real eye opener for our future MDEP service providers that are
looking for ways to save money in the current economic climate. This will
be a tremendous sales network capability that's going to enhance our company in
selling our technology and products.
I believe Washington, EPA, and CARB in California are all going to be interested
in Mirenco technology before the end of 2009. Internationally, Mirenco
introduced MDEP to China during December of 2008. We understand that Mirenco has
been the first company that the Chinese government has been able to verify that
a smoking city bus turned into a smokeless city bus. Our technology is new to
China and since they are very interested in cleaning up air quality, it appears
as though China is considering the use of our technology to clean up the foul
air that is due to the diesel busses. It is our expectation that we will
continue to build our relationship with China and thus see significant
international sales in 2009 and beyond.
In closing, we have a number of significant patents and they are viewable on our
web site. For example, in one of our recent patents (#7,454,284) which we
received in 2008, Mirenco claims the rights
to having a fuel control device on a vehicle that is able to send real-time
information from the vehicle to the Mirenco database or any other remote
monitoring network. So, essentially, Mirenco owns the rights to use satellite,
GPS, and any other real-time communication device all of which could use a
plurality of sensors that would be installed on the engine to send information
from the engine to Mirenco or any other place that we set up a remote monitoring
network. From there, our computers would send back information to that vehicle
and adjust the engine’s fuel injection to maintain combustion and fuel
efficiency in real time. The day is coming when fuel loss and above normal
emissions will have to be maintained immediately and automatically.
Summarizing, Mirenco has the ability to control the fuel injection from our
remote monitoring locations. Currently, we are learning that the mining
companies are very interested in this real-time Mirenco technology because of
the large amount of that their machines use and the fact that Planet Green is
pounding at their doors.
Mirenco's website (www.mirenco.com) should
be regularly viewed to keep up to speed on any new developments that occur in
today’s fast paced environment.
