Mirenco is pleased to announce that several professional organizations will
market and service Mirenco’s technologies. Over the next twelve months, Mirenco
MDEP
service providers will begin marketing Mirenco products and services throughout
the United States and Canada. In addition, around mid 2009, a distributer
will begin setting up MDEP service centers in China for city buses, with a
focus on improving the air quality.
We expect the MDEP program to extend throughout China over the next
several years.
The advantage of the MDEP procedure
is that it is taught and performed on each engine EXACTLY the same by
every MDEP service provider. This combustion procedure is fast becoming a
standard that can be used to compare diesel combustion efficiency of all diesel
engines in the world.
Mirenco service providers learn to conduct real-time diesel combustion
evaluations EXACTLY the same each and every time by taking extensive
training in the classroom and with hands on training using actual engines. This
training includes how to properly operate, calibrate and maintain the diesel
combustion diagnostic equipment. Additionally, the training teaches the MDEP
specialists about the exhaust gases and how the five gases represent engine
combustion. Further training and education is necessary so that the service
provider will be able to evaluate the engine combustion results which contain
both the diesel particulate and five gas results. This results in standardized
MDEP reports with recommendations that any MDEP service provider or vehicle
owner can understand worldwide. An
example of such a process would be to have a trained MDEP mechanic in Iowa
looking at a MDEP report for an engine in California and within seconds after
looking at the report be able to explain the engine’s combustion and any service
action that may be needed to change abnormal emission or fuel efficiency.
