As the days wind down to the end of 2008, I believe that this year has definitely shown us, as well as the world, how fast things can change. For Mirenco, it was fortunate to have had record high fuel prices which then allowed us to get through customer doors we were not able to get through in the past.  Thus, Mirenco’s fuel saving technology has been successfully implemented in numerous mining companies during 2008 which allowed us to expand our product and service sales beyond anything Mirenco has done in the past.

The majority of Mirenco’s new customers in 2008 operate large fleets that burn millions of gallons of diesel fuel each year. We have been fortunate having Whayne Supply  helping Mirenco with sales and installation of our C-Max and D-Max products. Whayne Supply in 2008 added several professional engine service people that now conduct the MDEP  diesel evaluations plus Whayne technicians have the experience to repair diesel engines. This combination of professional experience and technology provides significant fuel savings, emission reduction and extended engine life.  

For Mirenco, it is a privilege to offer technology that provides long term fuel savings that also results in significant reduction of emissions over an engines life cycle. Acceptance of Mirenco’s technology continues even in a business climate where diesel fuel prices are decreasing.  I believe this is a direct result of our customer’s education on how to measure and understand the good versus bad, engine combustion. Understanding good and bad combustion gives our customers a natural understanding of the actual benefits of any product they decide to evaluate compared to the advertised benefits.
