Mirenco’s ongoing success and growing reputation with
Whayne Supply Company’s
customers has caught the attention of one of the world’s largest mining
companies.
BHP Billiton has
recently purchased several C-Max units from Mirenco for evaluation purposes.
The C-Max units were installed by Mirenco last week to demonstrate to
BHP
Billiton the potential fuel savings and environmentally friendly
effects of Mirenco technology.
Mirenco is also pleased to have sold an additional 140 C-Max and D-Max units in
the past 30 days. Sales and progress with new customers has continued to
grow at a steady pace. We are looking forward to the remainder of this
year and our future offering our service to existing and new customers needing
our real-time vehicle management technology.
I will end this weeks update with some interesting combustion facts followed by
a couple of questions that you should know the answer to if you operate an
internal combustion vehicle. The answers will be in next weeks update, in the
meantime give the questions some thought as your filling your tank at the gas
station.
Everyone has been hearing about Carbon Dioxide ‘CO2’ and your related Carbon
Footprint, Carbon Credits and Green House Gasses. Few people know firsthand
what comes out of a vehicles tailpipe or have put much thought into it. Carbon
Dioxide is a product of combustion that every vehicles engine produces as
gasoline or diesel fuel is burnt. Every gallon of fuel that is burned changes
from the liquid gallon of fuel that you pumped into the fuel tank into exhaust
gasses as it flows out of the tailpipe.
Carbon Dioxide is great news for most plant life which thrives in an above
normal Carbon Dioxide environment. As the Carbon Dioxide increases in our
atmosphere more of the earth’s radiant heat from the sun will remain on earth.
As the earth warms from increasing Carbon Dioxide above normal rain and
moisture can be expected as evaporation from the world’s open water increases.
Plant life thrives in an above normal moisture and Carbon Dioxide environment.
The questions I have for you are:
1. How many pounds of Carbon Dioxide ‘CO2’ are emitted into the earth’s
atmosphere with each gallon of diesel fuel burned?
2. The Carbon Dioxide your vehicle produces from diesel fuel or gasoline was
stored in the earth’s oil reserves for approximately how many years?
